Q: My door has a circle where the latch bolt goes. The lock I have came with a square/rectangle shaped latch piece. What should I do? A: Replace the square/rectangle latch unit with a circular, drive -in, latch piece. We will gladly assist you with this change.
Q: My front door is already drilled. Can I use a one-piece handleset? A: Maybe. Using a one-piece handleset may allow the holes to show through the plate. The best approach to take would be to call us and we can give you more information on what needs to be done.
Q: I have differing locksets on my house. Can I have all my locksets keyed the same? A: It all depends on whether the keyways match. Different brands have different keyways. Some match and others do not. If the key fits into the lockset then the possibilities are good. If the key does not fit in a keyway then that key will not be usable for that lockset.
